Having access to reliable information about the impact of consumption and waste generation on the environment is an essential precursor to changing one’s behaviour and daily habits surrounding these issues. For EWWR 2019, we challenge participants to educate themselves and others about waste and to put that knowledge into practice by changing their daily consumption habits in order to reduce their waste. Our theme for this year is Waste education and communication and we’ll be rallying support under the slogan Change your ways, Reduce your waste. Please use #EWWR2019 and #ReduceYourWaste to spread the word on social media.
Learn more about this year’s theme and consult our ideas for activities and thematic materials on the designated page on the EWWR website.
