TRAVELLING TO LONDON. THIS IS OUR EXPERIENCE OF THIS AMAZING TRIP

 The last 12th of December 17 students from 2nd of Bachillerato and two of their teachers, Margarita Tortosa and myself , Mercedes Escavy,  started our  trip to London. 
    We spent five days in the capital  visiting the most important places: The Natural History Museum, The Science Museum, Buckingham Palace, Hyde Park, Regent´s Park, Camden Town Market, Greenwich village and the observatory... Lots of awesome sites!
 Moreover, we were invited to the Spanish Embassy where we met many young scientists who are working and researching in the United Kingdom. It was an amazing experience for all of us. 
 Every place was extremely interesting although, to be honest, the best memories will undoubtedly be the sharing of the trip with my students, who are really especial. They behaved respectfully and kindly to each other, and made the trip unforgettable!!! In addition, Margarita and me became  a very good team. Therefore....what else can we ask for??????????

This "Staff Portrait Gallery" is a project carried out by students of 4th ESO A/B and 1st ESO B under their teacher Juanjo direction. The students have done many interviews with teachers of English Department, language assistant, and SELE teachers. The interviews were recorded and some pictures were taken. The results are shown on these posters. They completed their work with some drawings which are true masterpieces.

This week, we are having our lessons with our Assistant Teacher Vitas on the topic "Halloween". Thank you for these interesting and useful lessons. Halloween History & Origin Halloween is the one of the oldest holidays still celebrated today. It's one of the most popular holidays, second only to Christmas. While millions of people celebrate Halloween without knowing its origins and myths, the history and facts of Halloween make the holiday more fascinating. Some people view Halloween as a time for fun, putting on costumes, trick-or-treating, and having theme parties. Others view it as a time of superstitions, ghosts, goblins and evil spirits that should be avoided at all costs. As the Christian debate goes on, celebrating Halloween is a preference that is not always viewed as participating in an evil holiday. Halloween is often celebrated with no reference to pagan rituals or the occult.
