WE LOVE THEATRE!
On 7th February our students had a fantastic vitit to the theatre in La Alberca.

Students from the 1st and 2nd years saw a play called "All about Angel". It deals with the new life of a boy in Scotland and it focuses on a very controversial issue, BULLYING. With humour and loads of realism, students learn how to detect and treat bullies thanks to Angel and his new friends.

Furthermore, students from the 3rd, 4th years and students from Bachillerato enjoyed a great adaptation of Shakespeare's Macbeth. The play is set in the prohibition era with mobsters as protagonists instead of kings as in Shakespeare's original tragedy. The dramatization of the different roles has been perfectly portrayed on the stage. Besides some parts of the dialogue were in Spanish, helping our young learners understand this complex play. As Ben Jonson once said, "William Shakespeare is not for an age but for all time".
